Day 13, Rest day in Ghorepani
The rest day in Ghorepani was intended to give us an opportunity to get a great view of the Annapurna range from the alleged Poon Hill (3200m). Unfortunately, the weather was so poor (thick fog and heavy rainfall all day) that we did not even leave our “See You Lodge”. Instead we spent the day making our own “MoMo’s”, a Nepalese speciality. The evening ended with a romantic candellight dinner, since the electricity had gone out, and several games of cards.
