Day 14, Ghorepani to Biretanti
Our final day of trekking had arrived. Today we were facing a roughly 6-7h descent from Ghorepani (2800m) to Biretanti (1100m). The weather started off very wet and foggy but gradually became better as we started trekking through the rainforests of Nepal. The journey offered some great views of the small villages nestled in the middle of the tropical mountains. To our surprise, we came across a number of landslides on the way. One of them was so recent that our guide rushed us past it fearing that it was not over yet.
